Keith (@keithklbelvin) is a certified Crisis Specialist, marriage counselor, award-winning author, and educator who helps address emotional problems. This conversation was packed with so many interesting insights, philosophical debates, and reflections on human nature, that it is hard to sum them all up. Keith is someone who clearly has spent a lot of time trying to understand people and the world we live in. Interestingly, his earlier life was spent in a much more selfish way. He was a misogynist and womanizer, whose main goal was to make himself happy. But thanks to hard work, his value of "transparency", and good foundations set by his mother and grandmother, he radically transformed his life.
Some of the intriguing concepts that came up were centered around Keith's view that there is a battle between good and evil in the world; and those on the "good" side have a responsibility to step up and make the world a better place. I tend to believe people are all generally good but our minds lead us astray to do bad things, so Keith and I explored that concept to try and understand why some people would "choose" to do harm. We also tried to understand how you would know if you were on the "good" side.
Towards the end of the discussion, Keith made a really interesting point about outcomes. There are so many factors at play and the world is so complex that it can feel overwhelming. Sometimes it is easy to get lost in it all and lose your purpose. Keith's point was that you should focus on the outcomes as your guide to tell you if you are being honest with yourself and on the right track. I found this really interesting. If you apply it to our politicians, as an example, many of them feel like they are doing the good work to help the country. Yet we sit here today, seemingly as divided and contentious as ever. If they look at the outcome, of where the country actually is, they would be really hard-pressed to convince themselves that they don't need to be better (rather than just pointing the finger at the other side). A big thanks to Keith for sharing his perspective and knowledge.

I recently had the pleasure of attending an online 'Heal thyself' group session with Keith and a group of colleagues from both sides of the Atlantic. Keith offered up some great tips, suggestions and coping strategies for various issues we were facing in the workplace and in our personal lives.
He made the session engaging, fun and we could have spoken with him for hours. Would highly recommend.
Great session Keith - keep up the good work!

I just want to take this time to give someone their ?? while they can still smell them. All of my 211 heads ALREADY KNOW wussup when it comes to Keith K. L. Belvin! In all the schools I’ve been in and all the teachers I’ve encountered (and besides Mr.Curcio. I remember his ass. I think he scarred us all??) Mr. Belvin is the ONLY teacher to ever leave an imprint on my mind. Like EVER. A lot of us are blessed to have experienced Mr. B’s tuff love teaching in his “Big Daddy” shirts?? ANDDDDD experience his tough-love teaching but on a whole nother level of understanding.

My friend tagged me in one of his post, so I clicked on it to see what it was about. I heard him say bring me your pain. I was thinking I am in so much pain. He can’t help me. After just talking to him one time I know he can help me to deal with all this pain. Very genuine down to earth type of person. He lets you know he will be here to help. Great man of God. Thank you Keith.

Just want to stop by and say that I’ve known Keith Belvin (Mr. Belvin) since I was 10 years old. Now, I’m 32 and he’s still that positive and motivating force he once was for not only me coming up, but for many other kids I’ve known growing up in Brooklyn. I’ve always respected and appreciated Mr. Belvin, and he was one of the few men that I’ve had in my life to set a positive and productive path to follow, and with that being said, I’m forever grateful. Thanks Mr. Bel ??????

Keith K. L. Belvin, you're welcome. When you mentioned about too much time on social, it reminded me of the text message I sent you that I would be fasting from social media so that I could be in the presences of God and emerge myself deeper in Him, and the preparation for the next level, as well as connecting me to the organizations and people who have since been placed in my path to offer not only their assistance but have introduced me to organizations and who have a passion for fighting Human Trafficking and God using me to share my testimony of survival.
Also, as you said, it also means separating yourself from people who do not share your vision.
Thanks be to God, I received quite a few speaking engagements to not just share my testimony, but also God has open doors for me to speak with Law Enforcement Agency to share with them how to approach victims, as well as the educational system, hotel industries. I will be flying to Fayetteville, AR June 21-25 to speak and teach on the subject of Childhood Sexual Abuse and Human Trafficking to law enforcement officers in the US, as well as International.
Keith, time may not allow me to log into a lot of your talks, however, I do watch the replays and take notes,s and do my homework. Thank you for being such a GREAT asset to me and so many more people who take the time to listen and do the work.
